I did ? mark it thought it may have been the charity shield win a the next season 62?63 season was the big freeze of a winter many games cancelled!
Fair point. I immediately jumped to the conclusion it was the changing room at Goodison because it is so similar to a photo taken after we clinched vs West Brom in 1970.

looking at it it does look like your spot on - just readin brian harris book in that era he did not turn up for the celebration because of how the tony kay deal had been carried out, and other things HC had done!
What a great player he turned out to be for us, costing us just a £10 signing on fee!
Lived around the corner from me in a road called Deyes Lane. Occasionally I would play footy with his son in his garden.

My mum and dad moved into Grasmere Road in 1963 allez,I was born in 1965,a lot of the blues lived around that way at the time:)
Blimey small world. Have to confess a typo, it was Dodds lane Harris lived on not Deyes, my bad. I was brought up in Wills Avenue. It was great seeing the likes of Gordon West, later on Jim Pearson on a regular basis at the Square. joe Royle's mum worked in the post office there for years.
