Taken from that fellers twitter - Roscoe v Barlow Lane School 1951 - just made me think back to when full backs always took the goal kicks.
Just shows you can't believe what you read in the papers. We had a Pork Butcher on County Rd and he was a regular, coming in once a week for Sausage, Black Pudding and pork pies.I sent this to my older brother and he laughed as my later father bought him a glossy picture of this below outside Goodison which as a kid he had put on his bedroom wall in pride and place!
You old show off Eggslol....I wonder if that's an Echo Cup Final. I'm not sure when that competition started but it was always the most prestigious schoolboy competition in the City and I dare say lots of lads on here played in it. Not sure if many have a winners medal though - I have (never miss an opportunity).
Rare footage of England v Poland played at Goodison 1966 - the last time England played a home fixture on an English ground other than Wembley before the rebuild of 2000. (Also played Northern Ireland in an away fixture at Goodison in 1973).

....brilliant find. I have to admit to not remembering that game taking place. I don't recall Harris playing for England and that will be a very rare international goal for Bobby Moore. Alan Ball was a Blackpool player then I suspect.
