1977 - Everton 4-0 Tottenham Hotspur. The Blues thrashed relegation-bound Tottenham at Goodison, with goals from Bob Latchford, Martin Dobson, Mick Lyons & an Andy King penalty.
1978 - Everton 2-0 Leeds United. The Blues beat Leeds at Goodison to maintain their title hopes. Goals from Bob Latchford & Duncan McKenzie kept EFC in 2nd place in the league table.
1893 - Wolves 1-0 Everton. The Blues first ever FA Cup Final appearance ended in defeat. The match took place at Fallowfield Stadium, Manchester. The stadium was demolished in 1994 & a University of Manchester Halls of Residence accommodation block now stands on the site.
1933 - Everton 2-1 West Ham United. The Blues reached the FA Cup Final for the 5th time, beating the Hammers in a FA Cup Semi Final held at Molyneux, Wolverhampton. Ted Critchley & Jimmy Dunn scored for EFC.
1968 - Everton 2-0 Tranmere Rovers. The Blues booked their place in the FA Cup Quarter Finals with victory over Tranmere at Goodison. Johnny Morrissey & Joe Royle were on target for EFC.
1984 - Everton 1-0 Ipswich Town. The positive momentum under Howard Kendall continued with a victory at Goodison. Derek Mountfield scored the only goal.
1968 - WBA 2-6 Everton. Two months before both sides met in the FA Cup Final, the Blues thrashed the Baggies at the Hawthorns. Alan Ball scored 4 goals (2 being penalties) whilst Joe Royle & Johnny Morrissey also scored.
1997 - Everton 1-0 Derby County. The last win & also goal scored under Joe Royle as Everton manager, as a Dave Watson goal handed EFC the win in this league encounter.
1991 - Barnsley 0-1 Everton. The Blues won this Zenith Data Systems Northern Area Semi Final, setting up a 2-legged Northern Area Final vs Leeds. Tony Cottee scored the only goal.
1982 - Everton 2-0 Middlesbrough. A league win at Goodison for Howard Kendall’s Blues, as goals from Graeme Sharp & Mark Higgins earned EFC the 3 points.

2003 - Everton announced plans to capitalise on the success of Li Tie’s 1st season at EFC by visiting China for an end of season tour. The club announced friendlies v Chinese sides Shandong on May 23 & Shenzhen on May 25. A SARS virus epidemic led to this being cancelled.
1999 - Blackburn Rovers 1-2 Everton. A good away win at Ewood Park for the Blues in their battle against the drop. A brace from Ibrahima Bakayoko sealed the victory for EFC.
