This is the oldest picture in this collection of archive images, and shows a view from behind the goal at the Fallowfield Ground in Manchester for the 1893 final between Wolves and Everton. Wanderers won 1-0, with the only goal scored by Harry Allen. Fallowfield had an official capacity of 15,000, but 45,000 turned up to watch. This was the only FA Cup final to be staged at the ground. It later became an athletics and cycling venue, before being demolished in 1994
