That has come from a Wolves forum Joey and having just had a look at what`s going on in that particular thread of theirs, I can say with some confidence, that they have their fair share of transfer thread lunatics too.

He played there in Russia, he plays there for his national team.

It's like saying Delph and GBaz are both left backs as they played there for city

Hes definitely a midfielder who was doing a job at left back (as many have done there).

Whether people think hes good enough, or the right fit, or will be value for money are all worthwhile questions. But what isnt in question is that his position is that of a midfielder.

That could be paper talk though he might just want regular football whatever the position. The only player off the top of my head that I can remember being successful in that switch from LB to CM was Patrick Lahm and tbh I may have that the wrong way around.

In my own opinion I can't see Myko improving massively in that department based on what I've seen. It's weird because we lost that side of it with Digne but gained a whole other side with Mykolenkos defensive abilities so he has a lot to offer. Honestly, and I could be wrong, I can see Lampard playing him in a back 3 as a LCB. We've been linked with a few left backs now too.

Yeah Romano is one of the best sources out there. Doesn't mean we'll get him but I believe our interest is genuine. Will come down to how much City are willing to part with him for or if a team with a starting role in a Euro competition come sniffing around. He'll play week in week out for us so that's a plus

We should at least get a discount off him for paying Delph's wages for them for the last two years and paying all his medical Bill's, c'mon City do the decent thing..
