From what I have saw he is a title winning left back who is actually a midfielder. I would hazard a guess to say he is better than some of the other options we have at the club currently but the price tag would be important given put current situation.

Don't think he suits their style unfortunately. But if they were interested and zinchenko was part of the deal, what about Ake as well?

I've rated Ake since his Bournemouth days to be honest

Probably Howe's only really "great" signing whilst he was there

Ake is one of those players who is just slightly below CL level but would improve a side like us instantly

They've supposedly told him he can leave but then want £50m for him, which is ludicrous for a player that only made 14 league apps last season.

Ake is one of those players who is just slightly below CL level but would improve a side like us instantly

The problem is his height for me. And could only really play as a left CB in a 3 imo

He probably walks into any side that isn't Top 4, Bayern, Real or PSG, so I get the pricing to be honest

I think he'd get a game at every club from Arsenal downwards in the PL right now

They will be stuck with him forever, unless they think Newcastle With all
Their riches will over pay. I’d sack Howe on the spot if I was the Newcastle owner and he asked me to spend 50mil on Ake

Never rated him personally. Was ok at Bournemouth and still got relegated with them (didn't he?) Which is the only place hes played regularly.

He's nearly 30 now and just a bench warmer at City.
