Never rated him personally. Was ok at Bournemouth and still got relegated with them (didn't he?) Which is the only place hes played regularly.

He's nearly 30 now and just a bench warmer at City.

Nearly 30? He's only 27. For a CB, got a decent 5 years+ left.

And while being a bench warmer he still played 27 matches in total last season. He would certainly be better than anything we have, but not sure how they think his value has increased since they spent over 40m on him and they haven't consistently played him.

From what I have saw he is a title winning left back who is actually a midfielder. I would hazard a guess to say he is better than some of the other options we have at the club currently but the price tag would be important given put current situation.

If he played, yeah. He started 13 times in all last season.

Of course he's better than what we have but that's not hard. Just don't ever rated him as much as others.

If anything, pro, but I have concerns regarding his injuries and his ability to perform week in week out in an unfamiliar position.
