Think Unsy might be on shaky ground now. Personally, I think he's done ok and you can see that tubby Ashley enjoys having him as a mentor. Most important though, unlike carpetbagger managers like Ancelotti, Tuchel etc, Unsy bleeds blue .. he is one of us, he gets us. Passion is what this club demands, and so I think I speak for most of us in shouting UNSY IN!!!!
Totally agree that we need passion an fight at the moment but I think the position were in we need someone to hit the ground running an start getting some results.

Love unsy but seen some tactically naive decisions in the last few games, don't think this is this is his time.

That's the worst part - the attitude doesn't matter a ton when the tactics are so utterly embarrassing.

It's getting to the point where I can't bear to watch anymore. We're dull and unimaginative in possession, we're horrific at defending, and we're showing no interest in changing either of those characteristics. The worst part is, it feels like it doesn't matter WHO comes in to manage - at this point, I don't see a starting XI that tactically works.

The only solace I have at this point is that we (potentially) get Bolasie and Coleman back around Christmas. That doesn't solve the gaping holes at center-back, left-back, or striker, though.

As much as I would have loved to see a win today, good riddance to Europe. We never stood a chance. Now we can turn our focus to getting out of the relegation zone.

Totally agree with you.

What amazes me is that some people really don't think we will go down. Have they watched us play recently?

Maybe they think that we'll sign 7 great players in January, do they remember how many failed January transfer windows we've had before?

I'm seriously worried atm. Like you said, even if we get a great manager in they'll really struggle with our current squad.

He’s had Chelsea away, Leicester with a new manager away, and Lyon away in the space of 11 days.

What could anyone else have done with this squad?

I don't really care if fans are panicking and worrying about it, I just don't want us picking a manager based on something which is unlikely to happen. I'd like the club to have some balls and professionalism in this moment and give us something to get behind again.

Why is it unlikely to happen though? We’re absolutely dreadful, can’t score and can’t defend. What’s wrong with admitting we’re in hot water? Now is not the time for a 5 year plan, now is the time for stability.

It's not unlikely though

It's highly likely indeed based on our current form

We need a specialist to get us out of this

Refusing to accept that we're in a relegation fight at this moment time is downright irresponsible

I expect the club to recognise the situation we're in and act accordingly

And who sanctioned the Sigurdsson signing for £45 million when we were crying out for a striker? I still can't get my head around it.

Sake. Red Star wearing what should have been our shirt sponsor and Arsenal fielding what should have been our French prince of a striker. Like salt in the wounds :(

Was always gonna be difficult for him but if he had any chance of getting the job he needed to have something to cling onto from these games.

Put simply: what has he done in the last 11 days/his entire coaching career that convinces you he is ready to manage a Premier League football club?
