It's a funny old world isn't it? Remember the summer when we were sexy FC , buying exotic La Liga strikers, Ajax's superstar captain, Siggi the Icelandic God and of course the return of the prodigal son .
Such happy memories, a summer redolent with love and hope and optimism. Great things were to happen to us, celebrations and rapturous times were imminent.

But in a few short weeks, all hope is gone, no laughter, no joy.

Why is it unlikely to happen though? We’re absolutely dreadful, can’t score and can’t defend. What’s wrong with admitting we’re in hot water? Now is not the time for a 5 year plan, now is the time for stability.

It's highly likely indeed based on our current form

We need a specialist to get us out of this

Refusing to accept that we're in a relegation fight at this moment time is downright irresponsible

I expect the club to recognise the situation we're in and act accordingly

It's unlikely because of what the vast majority of premier league seasons shows us.
It's unlikely because there are always three 'smaller' and weaker teams who will be worse.

It's irresponsible to spend more money on a short term manager because of crap form and low confidence after 10 league games, when the most probable scenario is survival at a minimum.

It's not impossible of course, but it's much less likely than us staying up or finishing near mid-table, and as such I'd like them to be calm and get an actual manager in that is going to sort us now and take us forward.
