Yes Alex Young’s fabulous header against Spurs took us a long way towards that title.

Another favourite of mine was seeing The FA cup being paraded around Goodison at half time in 1949 on a Wednesday night after Wolves won the cup on the Saturday before that game, first time I had ever seen the FA cup live, great for a young boy of eight.
