My uncle use to have one in his study... Always thought it looked stylish.

I always thought an elephant foot umbrella stand would be quite the thing for the more rakishly styled gentleman.

I can remember foreign package holidays first came out and going abroad was a really big deal.

One of my mates parents would come back loaded down with that much Spanish tat from Lloret de Mar - straw donkeys, castanets, wine gourds, straw hats, pictures of bull fighters, that they turned their house into a Spanish Taverna lol

Did they have a bull fighting poster with their name printed as the top drawer matador?

I bought a vase for the missus.

Worked out it wasn’t a vase as it can’t fit flowers in it. Now at sat there doing nothing. Proper eye sore. Hate it. The missus brings it up all the time as a form of emotional abuse. Congrats to her.

We've got an iron Anthony Gormley two Iron men on the beach thing and a yellow Lambanana. A Buddha and a spinning globe. Not one of them light up ones a fairly decent one with old naval measurements and stuff. Then it's just candles I think. Oh and some blue vase thing on a shelf above the telly that I don't think has ever had anything in it in it's life. Unless she's stashed my ciggies in it when I quit hang on
