Oscar Pistorius trial discussion

The prosecution are struggling here, they haven't presented any solid evidence which goes against Pistorious' version of events.

Dead body? Didn't he wonder why his GF wasn't just laying next to him in bed? Four shots just to make sure shes dead? Surely shooting someone for stealing some bog roll is a bit OTT???

With this logic I can nip out, bump someone off, come up with an elaborate story, hang around for the cops to come, and claim I'm innocent? Wtf? Lol. Bit of common sense here. The circumstances are pretty compelling.

There was a South African expert on the radio before saying that this is the prosecution using the bail application to get the defence to nail their colours and commit themselves & therefore this will allow the prosecution to fully prepare for the trial and give pistorious no wiggle room .

The defence are highly paid and don't have to do anything at the moment but speculate , there is no way the prosecution can be fully prepared yet. I wouldn't read too much into all this just yet .

How can he be clearly guilty with no proof ffs ?

A dead woman with gunshot wounds to her head, fired from his gun, & laid in his bog, with no-one else present, is fairly concrete proof that he killed her. The burden of proof in terms of explaining this away as some form of 'accident' lays with him.

You're missing the point.

The prosecution are pushing for premeditated murder, and so far they've done nothing to prove that over Pistorious' version of events. You can't sentence somebody based on what you believe, it's what you can prove. This isn't civil court.

I don't actually know if he's guilty or innocent, none of us do. I'm simply pointing out that all these people claiming he's guilty as sin based on paper talk and a couple of days of bail hearing are being ridiculous.
