Erm, there was a dead woman in his bathroom that he admits shooting. Thats enough for me.How can he be clearly guilty with no proof ffs ?

Don't know whether it was him or his brother, irrespective, it shows where his priorities where, given that they both got there before the emergency services.......
Police also found two iPhones in the bathroom and two BlackBerrys in the bedroom, Hilton said, adding that none had been used to phone for help. Pistorius had said that he called the manager of his guarded and gated housing complex and a private paramedic service.Roux said Pistorius did make calls, including to the guards of the housing estate. In one case, he said, a guard could hear Pistorius crying.
"Was it part of his premeditated plan, not to switch off the phone and cry?" Roux asked sarcastically.

Pretty damning really.
Not really.
Do you know how long it took the police to get there after being called ? Do you know where the brother lived ? Wouldn't surprise me if both the lawyer and brother lived in the same gated community, for example.
Gated community you say? And his first reaction was to think he had a burglar............... hmm
While gated communities are not fort knox, I have a friend who lived in one in LA. They generally have security, cameras, and your first reaction wouldn't be to think you had a burglar.
The investigator had no evidence that disproved Pistorius's story. That’s a matter of opinion, simply stating the facts for me would disprove his story.
The investigator had made a mistake in describing a drug found on the scene as "testosterone" (it may be a legal "herbal remedy). Clutching for straws, and relying on the fact your average joe doesn't' know what test looks like, where as it's highly doubtful that a police officer wouldn't know what test looked like. Besides, what herbal remedies do you inject? name me one?? Test comes in a vial and is mixed with oil, you’d know just by looking at it. It’s highly unlikely you’d be carrying oil in a vial ffs
The investigator did not wear protective booties in the house, thus "contaminating" the crime scene. Yep that would be accurate, but he didn’t actually say there was anyone else in the house. He’s claimed he mistook his gf for a burglar, so there was actually nothing to ‘contaminate’.
There was a good reason Steenkamp might have gone to the bathroom other than that Pistorius was trying to kill her (her bladder was empty). Or maybe they argued, she went to the look to pee, and he went ot get his gun to shoot her. Seems more plausible to me. Besidies, wouldn’t he have heard her peeing. You know when women wee it kinds makes a distincive noise in the pan. Not to mention he didn’t notice his GF was no where to be seen in teh house. If you think you have an intruder, first thing you do is check on your loved ones, not go crawling around the house on your hands with a gun.
Steenkamp had no defensive wounds on her other than the bullet wounds--there was no sign of a pre-shooting fight. The fight can be verbal you know! Sheesh! If he had hit her, he probably would have got his anger out and not felt the need to shoot her.
The "trajectory" of the bullets through the toilet door are not inconsistent with Pistorius's story that he was not wearing his prosthetic legs when he fired the shots. And? What does that prove, that he didn’t have his prosthetics on? That is all. It doesn’t prove his version of events.
One of the witnesses lived as far as 600 meters away (the prosecutors later challenged this). I can’t comment on this, it’s all hear say at this point. What I can tell you is, in my little village when I'm walking the dogs late at night, you can hear people from quite a distance away if they're shouting. Sound travels in the night, and it travels quite a distance.
Brennan there's nothing pretty damming in this, aside from being pretty damming towards Pistorius's guilt. For the life of me I can't see where you're coming from, you've gone beyond clutching at straws here.
Wouldn't say it happens all the time and i still don't think its acceptable to shoot people because they're tresspasing. Burgulars maybe, but Im of the opinion that you should have to identify who or what your shooting at before you shoot for obvious reasons like not shooting your family or friends etc. If you heard somebody in the toilet in your house while you were in bed would you think it was another person you lived with or presume it was a burgular and seek to shoot them?would you really just start firing through the door without asking who was in there?http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2087501/Man-shoots-wife-chest-mistaking-intruder.html
People do stupid things all the time.
Erm, it's not me clutching at straws, it's generally accepted by the media that the prosecution have messed up here, regardless of the strength of Pistorius' story. Hence one of the prosecution team saying 'we're in big trouble'.
- The first point isn't a matter of opinion, there is no solid evidence that disproves Pistorius' version of events, the detective himself admitted that. It's fact.
- It's not clutching at straws, the prosecution declared some unknown substance to be testosterone, which is ridiculous and Botha admitted that was not the case.
- Doesn't matter if there was nobody else in the house, you should still wear the appropriate kit so as not to contaminate a crime scene, which Botha admitted he should have done.
- The only 'evidence' they have of any argument taking place is a witness who was hundreds of metres away and admitted they could not identify Pistorius or Reeva. Not exactly solid, which is what the police originally made it out to be.
- The reason why the angled bullets issue is important is because, yet again, Botha claimed the trajectory showed he DID have his prosthetics on. The fact that he had to later admit that was untrue totally ruins the credibility of him and as a result the prosecution.
'Clutching at straws'. Okay mate.
I bet this thread gets closed.
