Oscar Pistorius trial discussion

I'm sorry, but none of this makes sense. And I just don't by that someone in a gated community would reach for his gun, fire four shots, and only then think of his GF who he knew was in the house at the same time. Your entire argument seems to centre on, if you can come up with a big enough whopper, then regardless of the facts, everyone has to disprove your whopper to prove your guilt.

I might as well go down the village and smash some granny over the head and claim I think I was going to be mugged, and blame the poor street lighting for mistaking the granny for a mugger. I mean no one could 'disprove' my story ..........

I'm not even debating his innocence or guilt, i'm talking about whether he's going to be found guilty. Which i don't think he will be. If he gets bail (which it looks like he will, based on the shambolic prosecution thus far) then that gives the defence team several months to get his story as tight as can possibly be.

Not really.

Do you know how long it took the police to get there after being called ? Do you know where the brother lived ? Wouldn't surprise me if both the lawyer and brother lived in the same gated community, for example.

Why are you arguing to the contrary on this issue? Is it just 'what you do' or do you genuinely believe that this man is innocent?

Same complex? that'd be handy, but is it a fact? If not why are you spouting it as being a possibility?

At this stage I hope it does. I'm starting to think of this news story from earlier on today with some peoples reasoning:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21529452

She was clearly guilty as far as i can work out. Some stupid questions that they asked the judge there.
Ive done jury duty and was picked again 12 months later but chose not to do it.Unfortunatley they were all rubish cases which I did. We didn't find anybody guilty either.

Thanks for confirming what I thought

If you'd read the thread you would know that i'm not arguing about whether he's innocent or not. Why ask questions i've already answered a couple of posts up ?

Your argument was all one way ie. in favour of the defence, so your stance of implied impartiality is false & merely a cover for you just being the contrary 'devils advocate' that you seemingly love to be lad

I was presenting facts. Why don't you present some facts to prove me wrong ? Or just keep moaning about me arguing.

You've been repeating the spun angle on the 'facts' portrayed by the defence.

I can't be arsed with you Brennan, I find you incredibly irritating, as you always seek to make an argument out of whatever issue is being discussed. Which makes you nothing more than a troll in my book, sorry love x

And yet you continue to argue with me in multiple threads. Derp.
