No, as long as they have been sensible and put in a load of relegation release clauses for players out and wage reductions, time will tell if they have.

Last season their turnover was around 25million.

EVEN if they get relegated this season they are entitled to 130m this season and another 150m or so in parachute payments.

Cornet makes it 105m on 12 players, with more to come.

Its certainly a risk, but it wont finish them.

I've read a few pieces suggesting that at each club he's played for he's came across as a bit of a character, which is me being nice.

I think if they bang a load of relegation clauses on the big earners and with the revenue this season and then parachute payments upon going down they’ll never have been better off in their history! Im fairly certain this is Norwich’s entire business model

Forest owners are completely gambling with the clubs future. If this doesn’t work out and they go down, they’re absolutely finished.

They are only spending the money they will earn this year. If they go down they will have para payments and a very decent team to come straight back up. If they wanted to they could sell their 100m worth of players for say 30m and they will still be 30m, plus about 75m in para payments better off than they were this time 12 months ago.
