But Barkley hasn't (to the best of my knowledge) gone to the press & slagged off the fans, the club & the club's transfer policy 11 months after signing a new contract & being out injured for 9-10 months.

He hasn't to be fair, he has been completely silent.

I meant more in the respect that he comments he made about wanting to stay, remembering how sick he felt when Rooney left etc.

I think some of us would prefer if he did say why he wanted out though, or at least give us some indication of why such a massive change of mind.

He's had a few whatts apps from Kyle Walker bantering him about how much money he's now on more likely and he's seen his arse.
