Schweinsteiger provided quite possibly my favourite football moment from a neutral prospective in the World Cup Final, despite being brutally fouled about 6 or 7 times, taking heavy knocks in the process , he still completed the full 120 minutes . He was a man of steel to make any rugby player proud.

I know that this means very little to any fan who grew up at a time when footballers were men, but I grew up with late 90s, 00s, football. So yeah.
