Other Clubs Summer Transfer Window 2020

We've well and truly had our kecks pulled down paying 35 mill for Iwobi, Wolves are buying a much more versatile and overall better player in Ainsley Maitland-Niles for a reported 20mill. AMNs natural position is arguably full back but he's still a better winger than Iwobi will ever be.
Wind it in. Maitland-Niles is a nothing player being brought in because he can play both RWB and LWB for them plus be not completely useless in a few other positions if need be. We 100% shouldn't be signing him and it is fine that we didn't.

Tbf Chelsea have a lot of money to spend between the Hazard sale after which they were banned and the fact that they just naturally make a lot of money. FFP is a joke but I kind of think this one is fine.

Signed Pulisic and Kovacic on top of that, during the ban.

Forgot Kovacic but Pulisic was technically signed before Hazard was sold. Meaning last summer they spent 40m or so which is well well within what they can do every season based on their revenue without factoring in the Hazard part. They have a lot of room to spend.

I just read they are still 40 mill quid positive net spend for two years due to transfer ban, sales and merchandise/sponsorship deals.

Whole things a con - imagine had FFP come in before Roman was throwing money around like it was going out of fashion - fat chance they were getting the revenue and sponsers they are now.

Hope Usmanov sponsers us to the tune of £30-40 million a year for the stadium and sticks 2 fingers up to FFP

I think Duffy will be an excellent signing if Celtic pull it off. Can see Werner banging them in for Chelsea (Already got him in my FF team), not too sure about that Havertz they are meant to be getting, not seen much of him but a few red mates are gutted they aren't getting him so good. Not sure Utd will pull of Sancho this year and I cant remember seeing City properly linked with anyone other than bringing Are in who could either be woeful or step up to the plate. I think there is a player in there to be fair like. The sh1te getting Thiago could unfortunately keep them ahead of the rest next season, he is a top top player and of course once the magic drip started feeding his blood he will be able to sprint at full pace for 90 minutes. Not that he needs too. Hope Bayern persuade him to stay put. Still ages to go but its very quiet by usual standards? Spurs need about 6 first team players or they will finish below us.

Not sure if its because I'm not the oracle of every player in Europe like I was when I was about 14 but the market seems pretty dry in terms of good to very good available players.

It was clearly designed to make sure that no one else can do what Chelsea, City and PSG have done but it isn't really possible to enforce it retroactively so those clubs are going to get away with exactly what everyone else is now banned from.

This Suarez thing is so weird. Yes, Barcelona desperately need to lower the age of the squad but they also need to have good players and Suarez despite his age is still an excellent striker. They've got plenty of other options to move on such as Rakitic and even Busquets who do not have the same level of performance in the last couple of years.

Hes been very good at right back apparently but has refused to play there as he sees himself as a centre mid.

Sadly they dont think hes very good in centre mid

Possible for the level they want.

I remember The Ox wanted exactly the same thing and got sold. He wasn't good enough as their type of possession CM. Does well for the RS (when he's not crocked) cos he's not relied upon to keep the ball but be an athlete instead - run, tackle, give to the front 3.
