No doubt he's great for the brand. Having the England captain in your team is a big deal.
I honestly think if the £160m fee is correct it's way over the top for what he's worth relative
to Haarland and/or Mbappe.

He won't obviously won't retire but he will past his best IMO.
True City can rotate him and protect him but I reckon 3 years
out of him. £160m is just not any where near value for money.
I'm not the only City fan who isn't that keen either that's for sure.

To be very honest - no.
I always want the domestic title before the CL. So only 2 more titles in 10 years when we
have won 3 out of the last 4... not really. To be fair our owners would snatch your hand off at the elbow
for that deal though! I'd love us to win the CL obviously and if nothing else to get the monkey off our back.
But to be totally truthful, if we win it once I wouldn't give a toss if we never won it again.
