I think he is. When your Sancho's are going for £80mill, Grealish is on a different level.

City have an injury prone De Bruyne and a flash in the pan Mahrez. Other than that, squad wise they lack creativity. Pep will be looking at Foden and Grealish for the next coming years.

Correct there.... a level below

You're far from the first person to call Leverkusen, a team that has made Europe 10 of 11 years, a mid-table side and I'm just kind of curious what the thinking is with that?

I can’t remember the last title race they were in, or the last relegation battle, therefore I’d say they are in the middle of the table by virtue of being neither at the top or bottom.

Miles above. Miles
Right.... so u seem to think a player whose only claim is being the most fouled player in the league... who is 26.... never played champs league footy is better than somebody who has been a stand out player in Germany playing in the CL...

OK mate

If we’d of signed any of the players palace have signed apart from Olise, the cry arsing would be off the scale on here.
None of them would be deemed good enough for our faux footballing purists.

Wel, that'll change won't it when he signs for the best team in the country.

While City run away with it again, United will be having a "bedding in period" for Sancho as he churns out average performances and the odd decent one

The upside for us being that if Grealish signs for City they will end their interest in Kane. So I hope it goes though.

Got a feeling Man U might step up to the plate at the last minute though. We won't sell to Chelsea.

That definition makes Man United mid-table

United were in the title race last season. They have been mid table for a while recently though. You’re confusing size with league standing. If you’re not challenging for the title, and you’re not in the relegation battle, then by definition you are in the middle of the table, maybe upper or lower middle but you’re not at either end.

Back to the main point though that here is a player that we should have been all over (apparently) and Villa have bought him for a decent fee completely uncontested without a sniff from a top club. He may well be a very good player but the obsession over him on here as our only approved transfer target was ridiculous.

No they weren't.

There are about 100 million examples of why the "if he's so good why didn't the big clubs by him?" is wrong just as there are a similar amount for the cousin argument "if he's good why didn't he show it at x big club?" And fwiw as a mid table club ourselves finding overlooked talents is exactly what we should be doing.

Don't think they'll end their interest. They just might not be willing to pay what Spurs want.

Theres other players to buy out there apart from Bailey. Get over it.
