city only get grealish and kane if they sell someone big like sterling imo

wont be suprised to see sterling offered to spurs as part of the kane deal

I reckon it'll be Gabriel Jesus who goes the other way. He'll want game time, he's always been on the periphery at City, think he needs the move too IMO.

They would have a belting team if they got these two.

BRIGHTON INTERESTED IN NUNEZ, CUCURELLA

Brighton
remain interested in a potential deal for Benfica striker Darwin Nunez.

Graham Potter’s side were keen on the Uruguay international while he was at Segunda Division side Almeria, before Nunez moved to the Portuguese club for a fee of around £20m.

Brighton are also interested in Getafe left-wing back Marc Cucurella who is currently playing for Spain at the Olympics in Tokyo. Spain face Japan in semi-finals of the tournament tomorrow.

Cucurella needs to be in a side where he's a wing back full time so that's a great fit

I'm not saying there is or isn't a difference. I know absolutely nothing about this particular player. I've never seen him and I have no way of judging his prospects of breaking through.

What I'm saying is that City's young players that are unlikely to ever play for the first team serve the same basic purpose as the kids at the modern La Masia (where they get promoted, make a few appearances and get sold on) - to appreciate as assets in order to be sold later to fund win-now purchases. City has just taken that model a step further, by essentially pushing the operating costs of that process off the club's books (but not the owner's) in order to generate phantom profits for FFP purposes.

Should one of the kids break through, it's just a bonus.
This.
Much like Chelsea

Valentino Livramento jound Southampton from Chelsea for £5 million.
Young, highly rated rb/rwb. Won Chelsea academy player of the year couple of years ago, cominginto the last year of his contract but with Reece James in his way.

Joe Hart to Celtic.

Cracking move for him that, will play regularly again in an environment where nothing except a win is good enough. Still undoubtedly good enough to play in Scottish football. Watch, in a few months there will be ludicrous calls for him to be back in the England set up.
