I do watch, and have watched them both for ages.

I just dont think Romeros is a good fit for the prem, Demiral for me would be a better fit.

Spurs are paying way over the odds.

Juve happy to get rid of him, and play Demiral instead.

If Romero was THIS good, then why only Spurs in for him !?! Barca & Real need defenders.
I can only speak to your final point but Barca and Real have no money. Barca can't even register the players they've already signed. And of the teams that can probably afford him none of them need a centre back as they went with other options for various reasons.

EDIT: I've barely ever seen Romero play, just saying that Spurs having an open run at him is not a sign he is poor, over priced etc

Depends if Chelsea want to try their hand again with Haaland I guess. They aren't going to buy both. But maybe Haaland has already made a decision in which case I agree Lukaku to Chelsea makes sense

I was already thinking about this. If City land Kane and Chelsea get Lukaku that leaves a clear path for RM or Barca for Haaland next summer - with Mbappe a lock to go to the capital, I think Barca lands the Norweigan

I think it will be Man United if he doesn't go this summer and City get Kane and Chelsea get Lukaku. You will know more about Barca than me but having read a lot about your finances I think you may struggle for a few years yet. And as you say, Mbappe to Real seems like a foregone conclusion and I'm not sure they would be able to afford both even if Mbappe is free and Haaland is on his reduced price.

Odd isn't it that Chelsea are looking to buy 28 year old Lukaku for £110mn (if Inter even accept) but 28 year old Kane isn't worth £150mn.

If Villa manage to keep hold of Grealish (which I realise is a massive 'if') they'll be looking strong going into the new season.

I cannot see ManYoo splashing big in the market again, especially with how many attacking players they have + there is Raiola

Most predicted pending doom for Barca, Laporta like a phoenix raising the club back to prominence - a big signing is around the corner

I was talking about Man U buying him next summer, not this one.

And I admire your confidence but you can't even register the players you've signed for free this season at the moment. I don't see any imminent big signings unless there are some major offloads from your current squad.

I was as well. The Yank owners are not spending big every summer and this was a big outlay this summer so unlikely this will be followed with another big spending window next summer

As I say, the doomsayers will be disappointed but Laporta has things on track

I’ll be shocked if Grealish leaves, which now seems likely.

Stuck by them in the Championship, when Spurs went after him, and then in the bad years with Bruce and now he leaves?

Just as I thought Villa were building something.
