He has had an operation on his wrist, and needs time for the strength in his wrist to recover enough to deal with competitive football at the level of the Premier League. the professionalism of the club will surely lead them to consider his well-being and effectiveness within the game before your impatience.

Is this a wrist injury he came with, or something that happened since, and if the latter, how?

I ask because we were told the reason he couldn't play was because the paperwork wasn't complete and that he wasn't match fit.

I assume the visa/work permit is in place, so is he still not match fit, or injured? Or both?

Hes had a wrist injury for a while now, he had an op very recently, hes not technically injured and hasnt been at all from what I can gather, also the paperwork to play has been available for weeks now, I think its just a case of fitness and getting him up to speed with the pace of the league.

Wouldnt be totally surprised if we left it until after the trip to the middle east till he makes a squad, theres no rush at all.

I think what has obviously happened is Bobby has played him on Fifa 16. He's rated only 77 and trust me, he's absolutely crap if played out on the left. Barkley was even moved out wide to accommodate him behind Romberto up top but he was absolutely gash in that position as well.

Boberto has realised this and will come up with as many blags as possible until the summer when he will obviously hope Senegal do well in the Euros (I've put a fiver on them btw as I think they will easily get out of the group with Kenya, Nigeria and Norway) and be able to recoup at least 3m for him.

Senegal didn't qualify this time, mate.
