Something's fishy here. He's definitely alot better than what his cameos have shown, just watch his Youtube highlights, he's got an absolute rocket of a right foot and actually sprints around completing passes and doing his best to score. The Russian league isn't tinpot either. Have we signed his brother or dad or something? There shouldn't be any sniggering at FF if his YT highlights aren't fake.

Maybe a Championship loan to Birmingham or somewhere would do him some good.

Hence the problem with YouTube highlights... And the Russian league.

Without getting all "BEST LEAGUE IN THE WORLD", everything about the English league is far superior to the Russian one. It takes players ages to get up to speed.

Is anyone else staring to get that Brett Angel feeling, except he cost about twenty times more !

If I were in charge of training (God help us if that was ever the case) the first order of business would be removing pockets from training gear wtf is that all about. No wonder the guy ain't fit if he's standing with his hands in pockets at training.

I thought he showed a little glimmer yesterday...he got up quite well and won a couple of headers, but he is finding it difficult to make his mark. The prem is the best league in the world, and he wouldn't be the first decent player to find it difficult adapting. Does seem to be enthusiastic, at least. Maybe he's Robertos Straq............

He looks truly pathetic. Regardless of how many minutes we've seen him he clearly has very limited ability his touch is hilarious.

He could be worse than Stracquilarse and thats saying something.

He's meeting people in the everton store I believe, not sure that's a great idea after his not so great cameos but what do I know!

The problem is context.

Sometimes highlights of Championship matches make players look great, because they're surrounded by other average players. That's why Bily looked good in highlights videos when we bought him.

The defending and athleticism in the Russian League is of a much lower quality in general, which makes players look better than they are when they come over to the UK. That's why finding players in poorer leagues can be so inconsistent.

from losers section in football 365:

Oumar Niasse
“He’ll need a little bit of time to understand the Premier League, with the tempo and all the new aspects of the league. But I wouldn’t expect too long because he is the type of player who can have an impact in any game. He is a strong, powerful striker who can play in different positions. He is going to be a terrific, fresh addition to a squad that will welcome his ability. The freshness Oumar Niasse brings is going to be very positive going forward” – Roberto Martinez, Feb 1.
“The adaptation period has been a little bit longer than we expected. He’s a player who needs to be 100% in order to be himself. He would tell you that probably he feels around 50 to 60% of his physical ability. The quicker we get through the adaptation period then the quicker we will see the real Oumar Niasse” – Martinez, April 1.
Niasse has played 26 minutes since his arrival at Everton for a fee of £13.5m, from ‘can have an impact in any game’ to ‘needs to be at 100% to be himself’ in two months. Martinez’s claims that Niasse cannot play yet are odd given that the striker appeared in both of Senegal’s matches over the international break, and scored in the first. The third most expensive signing in Everton’s history has got off to an inauspicious start.

maybe he is going to play left wing or something haha! Like he's going to drop Rom and play this clown! He needs time, so should play them together up top!

I'm happy to be proved wrong and I know its deeply unfair to judge someone on a handful of 5-6 min appearances.
But I cant actually think of one tiny positive thing I have seen during those appearances
