The YouTube oumar looks completely different to the one I saw at Everton. He scored some cracking goals and looks like a counter attacking type player.
The whole situation was odd, his performances for Everton were comical, but I hope he makes it at Hull.

Pienaar was being investigated for potentially assaulting a woman when he was with us. I don't remember the fans hounding him out the club. I'm assuming this is because he was a good player for us and Niasse hasn't been.

Asked exactly the same question yesterday mate.

Still waiting for an answer.

I've only seen people mentioning the assault using the word 'charged'.

The primary objective of any football club must be to win trophies, but there's a way to conduct yourself and Everton have always been at the forefront in terms of class and dignity. In many respects youre right, but as some of us get older, the values we hold are eroded, in all walks of life, not just football. What we used to think of as bad behaviour is now considered to be the norm, and unless you are prepared to ignore or accept it, you lose out to the majority. I've been working for close to 60 years, and if I still operated with the same standards/beliefs,that I did years ago, theres no way I'd still be out there doing my bit. Even governments did not act quite as shabbily as they do now.

Well, he apparently spurned loads of potential moves to sit on his arse and not play for Everton, which to me is a disgrace. Some professional footballer.
