Tbh, nobody has shown the bit where he controlled the ball in the box, spun and got a shot on target. He's no world beater like, but its easy to pick out bits.
afraid soHe's coming RIGHT back isn't he.

In my book, if you dont score, but you are directly responsible for a goal, you havent done "Ok", and the team would have been better with you off the field.
Hence the continuing 'unfair'(!!) criticism of Barkley for most of this season, and last, until his Koeman driven 'return to form'.

To be fair to the club they gave martinez the money to spend on him. We as fans are always slating the club for a lack of investment, it was Martinez who spunked the money on him.
The rumours were there even before he kicked a ball in a match for us that he was no good. I remember watching his first game for us and he looked like he'd never played football before, like bambi in boots. He's off our wage bill now but the blame lies solely with old Bobby on this one. Hopefully he does alright for them and we can get some money back.
..he is an athletic professional footballer so you can expect him to play, it's just that he's clearly not close to being a £13m player. Watch him for the U23s and he'll get on the end of things and score but he's not technically as good as Calvert-Lewin and he struggles to link play.
Teammates will know his worth after half an hour training. He's a footballer, it's just a matter of finding his level.
I get all that mate, and I agree with you, its just that sometimes it feels that its a competition as to who can [Poor language removed] him off the most, admittedly, more on twitter than here, but it just makes me uncomfortable. I hope he does find his level and enjoys his football, just that it wont be with us as we require better footballers. The lad didn't choose his fee, but he's constantly judged on it. Not sure if anybody else saw his press conference the other day, but he handled the questions excellently and regardless of everything that's gone on, he just wants to do his best.
...well, you probably know my (uninformed) view that this transfer is rotten. Niasse is very much a part of it and has benefited enormously. As I say, it's guesswork on my behalf.
