or if you divide the 1081 minutes in 90 minute blocks, it means he scored 10 goals in the equivalent of 12 full games
I honestly believe if you had him and cenk up top (as silva may well play with 2 at times), and got the midfield sorted behind them sorted, that's potentially a 40 goal partnership there

Think you need to calm down a bit there, Niasse and Tosun will never score 40 goals between them in a season, I like both of them but they are 20 goal a season strikers, they would get between 25 and 30 for me

How can anyone defend this clown?
When one of his strenghts is "he wins freekicks" I think we can safely say he is a limited footballer, awkward and maybe a "bit of a handful" are not what top teams are looking for. If we could get most of the money back I would get shut no problem, else keep him as an impact sub.

We're not a top team so doesn't matter to us.
We're a team who has had a very disappointing season where a number of our senior players have gone missing and have disrespected the shirt. Putting together a squad that is regarded as a 'top team' will take time and therefore I would rather we had players like Niasse for the time being who gives his all and has a very respectable scoring record based on the amount of minutes he has had.
He shouldn't be first choice but he's a useful squad player at the moment. Deserves to stay.
He is the ideal sub when a game is drifting away from you. He works hard, makes a complete nuisance of himself and has a decent scoring %.
The problem that I see going forward is that we do need a pacey striker capable of scoring goals, we have Tosun and DCL.
That would mean that with Niasse we would have four strikers and that may be too many.
