Cant really compare Lukaku and Niasse, Lukaku scored tons of goals, Niasse has scored a few, the fella is the luckiest player ive ever seen, he scores goals, how he does it I dont know, I just think hes a terrible football player, im entitled to that opinion.

As long as he doesn't touch the ball anywhere outside the box, he's dynamite. This is a problem.

He had some good chances versus West Ham, he took 1 in the end and he looked a vastly bigger threat than Tosun, but im hoping Tosun was already on his holidays.

I think we can do vastly better, than both currently, I mean im not writing Tosun off, but we defo need a Striking option or 2.

I'm with Nev on the whole thing...no use buying 6 players to fill out a squad, buy two world class players and leave it at that. The problem is no world class player is going to want to play for Silva.

To compare with Lukaku this season, Niasse is even better than him in minutes-per-goal.
Actually, we only give Niasse to play 1083mins which is a half of DCL and Niasse scores double to him.
Yes, you can say he is not good enough to be the 1st striker but is one of the best sub players in the league.

Dont forget how depth of your bench is one of the key factors in a long season.
If you are ManC, you can buy every starters in your bench but we are Everton.
We need someone who is always ready on the bench and happy with it...And Niasse is that one!

I think most of us felt the same way initially about Oumar,we felt we had spent £13.5 million on our own version of Ali Dia,I couldn't see at the faintest resemblance of a footballer in there,I recall most blues just wanting him off the wage bill, sod any transfer fee, remember the West Ham 10 man 2-0 up game when he came on and we ended up losing which Martinez and he carried the can for?The Koeman locker episode, enough to destroy most of these lily livered players we have on our books, however out of the ashes in this desperate season of ours rose a lad who when given an opportunity gave us everything he had and more, and in the midst of it notched some really top drawer goals for us,I just wish he had been given the opportunity to give us more(the derby game, he was on his haunches in front of me on the touchline looked like he couldn't believe he hadn't been utilised)now I don't know what the future holds for Oumar,I would like to think he stays as regards to our squad he definitely adds"something"(I still can't quite make him out and what that is!!)but if not he would leave with the thanks and blessings of us Evertonians for giving his all which shames a number of our "big name" players,Go 'ead Oumar lad:)

While they may not be the world class stars that we desire, the idea is still the same whereby a few quality players down the spine is paramount.

I would much prefer the club to focus on three pivotal positions which will significantly improve us, rather than a scatter gun approach.

Once the key positions are sorted with quality additions, then we could begin adding strength in depth and raise the bar slightly further.

If we’re getting Silva in then we will be pressing high up the pitch and will need a forward who will work his socks off, close down and generally make a nuisance of himself. It’s a no brainier to keep him, if we can get someone better in as well then great.

I can, and Oumar has the better goals per minute in a vastly gasher team. Therefore Oumar is God and probably worth 120 mil

120mill for that goal off his ass alone. But some of his finishes have been brilliant quality as well. He knows where the goal is and has a knack of scoring. There have been plenty of top quality strikers who lived off scoring tap ins by being right place right time.

It’s that old adage, the harder you work the luckier you get. Oumar works very hard.

It depends how we are going to play. If we’re going to play a high pressing game then he’s ideally suited and his work off the ball is invaluable. No accident he’s done well under Silva and Unsworth who both like to play pressing style football. No idea why Martinez signed him because he didn’t like to play high intensity pressing football and based everything off possession which doesn’t suit Niasse.

Yeah and compared to this season Mo Salah is better than Messi and Ronaldo.

But thankfully for Messi and Ronaldo, people will compare them over their careers, Niasse has scored 50 goals in his whole career, Lukaku has scored 50 goals in the last 2 seasons.

Stick that in your goals per minute ratio.
