So, whilst James has been taking the season by storm with his sexy football skills, he was consistently outvoted for player of the game on here, and the significance of other players is mentioned frequently, from Richarlison's runs, DCL's goals, the forward runs of our wingbacks, the defending by Mina and Keane, not to mention the patrolling and box to box play of Allan and Doucouré and of course captain Coleman.

So who is your first name on the team sheet?

And no... 'all of them create a system that is a cohesive unit, held together by the tactical awareness of Carlo the great, a man who's moving the cogs of the machine into position to create a whole greater than the sum of it's parts' is not a valid answer, pick one you supine invertebrate protoplasmic jellies.

We don't have a direct replacement for James in any shape or form and the majority of our attacks go through him.

Next would be Richarlison because we don't have another wide forward like him. But as shown on Saturday that doesn't matter too much against lesser opposition and players like Iwobi, Gordon and Bernard can do a job.

the whole club, and season, has been condensed into the new Columbian chap. If he sneezes a thousand Evertonians will cry out in panic.Which in some respects makes the next derby a nightmare prospect. Cos you know at some point in the game one of their less sporting tacklers will go in on him with more than the ball in mind. James. He starts attacks off by playing a simple forward pass when others would look back or sideways. It's helped us score many goals in games rather than grabbing one and shutting up shop, that ain't his style and long may it continue.
