Richarlison. Single handedly wins us games through his sheer effort and energy. The goals away at Newcastle last year and Watford away were directly through his sheer effort. Gets back and helps us out defensively and wins us vital free kicks outside the oppositions box which lead to goals. Work horses like this with talent are rare.

It's so good that this is hard to choose. On the pitch I would have to say Richarlison, offensively and defensively class, with Allan, Doucoure, Rodriguez having honourable mentions, for now.
However, if you include all areas of the club, it has to be Coleman, the best captain that Ancelotti has ever had.

Well I disagree with that, but even if it were true we still got pinned back even further when James went off on 78 minutes or whatever. Plus we didn't score without him.

It is only 20 minutes at the end of two games, but we've done nothing with him off the field.

We don't beat Palace without James he just has that thing where on days where it might not be going your way a bit of something out of nothing is all it takes and he delivered twice that day.

For me it will always be a defender.. I went with Digne... it's a common phrase in American sports and I even remember Alex Ferguson saying it.. your attack will win you a game but your defense will win you a championship.

Allan is really important and I nearly put him, but Rodriguez is full on world class. You can’t not have him as your most important player.

James Rodriquez most important player but Ancelotti is the most important signing we've made in a very very long time.

I've voted for Calvert Lewin as our striker depth beyond him and Richarlison, who is also starting every match, is dire.

We scored 44 goals last season in the league. We're on pace to score 114. His creativity is the big reason why that changed.

We've tightened down defensively, but we're still on pace to leak 48 in the league. Allan and Doucoure are making a substantial contribution on that front, but at the end of the day we're winning because we're burying opponents in goals.

Rodriguez for me.
I can’t bear to think who would we start if he wasn’t available.
He is also the player other teams are worried about and it will probably effect their game plan.
Our other players look to him and expect him to produce something. We have other good players but no one can produce the defence splitting pass or the magic he can.
It’s such a shame that he hasn’t had the opportunity to play in front of the fans.

Our best players are Richarlison and Rodriguez, in that order. However, our most important player is Gomes because he is the fulcrum for the team who makes the pass before the assist. A long left-footed pass out to Rodriguez or an early pass into space to release Richarliso.

Without Allan our defence is exposed and we’re back to last season. Same story Doucoure.
