Allan for me, it all starts and ends with him, he wins the ball all over the place and gives it to better players to distribute. he breaks up attacks before they properly begin and sets us on our way again. Without the ball Rodriguez can do nothing.

Allan by a country mile our most important player. He's not our best player, but in my view our most important. A lot like Reid in the 80s in terms of contribution.

His fitness and creativity have elevated us to another level and he is the missing piece of the jigsaw in terms of unlocking defences.

It is also mega important that we keep DCL and Allan fit for as many games as possible.

A proper DM is easier to find then a player like James who generates football and chances all game long.

There is also a reason James, while we always pick someone else as MOTM, always gets 2nd. We've had DCL, Coleman, Allan, Mina, Doucoure. James is the consistent 2nd to always someone else having a breakout game. The most consistent and player, the player who we run our attack through, and the player who Carlo would protect the most if he had to rest someone for a cup game.
