Richarlison.
Correct attitude and dedication.
Stable result.
Age and long term contract.
The biggest asset of the club.

There is no player on the field that conditions the rival more than Rodríguez. All the aggressive-looking teams (Palace and Brighton) looked like kittens. You know why? There's no player who makes 50-yard passes like him and puts the team on offense in 3 seconds. The attacking and running players are in the mass market.

I voted Allan, because just having him in the midfield instantly improves those in front of him and behind him. Our midfield would be so poor defensively without him or Doucoure.

Richarlison. His constant willingness to make those runs stretches teams and opens up the pitch for James to work his magic.
His regular ridiculous defensive shifts he puts in more than make up for his inconsistent finishing.

Totally get anyone voting for Allan or James though.

For all the votes going to Allan and Richarlison: we just dominated Brighton with neither of them on the pitch (Richie went off at 1-0). So I guess explain that?

We were in control of that game until Richarlison went off. Instead of forcing them back with Richy, with Iwobi everything came back inside or just backwards.

Well I disagree with that, but even if it were true we still got pinned back even further when James went off on 78 minutes or whatever. Plus we didn't score without him.

It is only 20 minutes at the end of two games, but we've done nothing with him off the field.

So, whilst James has been taking the season by storm with his sexy football skills, he was consistently outvoted for player of the game on here, and the significance of other players is mentioned frequently, from Richarlison's runs, DCL's goals, the forward runs of our wingbacks, the defending by Mina and Keane, not to mention the patrolling and box to box play of Allan and Doucouré and of course captain Coleman.

So who is your first name on the team sheet?

And no... 'all of them create a system that is a cohesive unit, held together by the tactical awareness of Carlo the great, a man who's moving the cogs of the machine into position to create a whole greater than the sum of it's parts' is not a valid answer, pick one you supine invertebrate protoplasmic jellies.
Goalkeeper you are the weakest link :bye:

Rodriguez is the difference between mid-table / sneaking into a Europa League spot when no one's looking, and going into every game feeling as though you've got a chance.

He's elevating the others.
