Yeah fair points.. i do think he'd get on the end of a few but still he'd just be feeding on the scraps without really helping the team develop.

i also wonder how he would fit in. i don't see him getting off on the big team ethic that moyes has inspired over recent seasons. what would he bring to the dressing room.. a few racing tips?

I dont know mate always seemed like a good lad to me if you ignore the dull as dishwater thing. Seems like a good pro doesnt drink etc, i would say that big time charlies wouldnt be tolerated at Everton but he never really striked me as that type, more like Ned down the road who happend to be good at football. In terms of being a big name well our squad is full of them these days lets face it their our lads in our team who currently have better international careers them him, the days of oour squads containing the Mark Pembridges of the world our tankfully over.

The motivation for him is to, prove the dobhters wrong and less we forget its a world cup year.

I know someone who knows Kevin Nolan and Owen is allegedly a boring [Poor language removed], very quiet. However the scouse lads at the [Poor language removed] seem to want him back there if reports are to be believed so he must be able to fit in to the dressing room well.

I'd usually be against this but in the current climate I don't think 50k a week is that much and the fact that it's world cup year is a big thing for me. Owen as always been a lover of playing for England there's a space in that squad for a striker and I think he'll be giving it everything for his last opportunity to play in a World Cup.

Ideal situation- yak=22 goals a season
Saha=8
Owen=11 at least
Cahill=8
Fellaini=7

And with yak off to the African cup, bit of firepower wouldn't go a miss

That's what I was getting at to be honest.:D

Osman is far from a 12 million player and he can score 7 goals from a deeper position.

*runs and hides*

Were you not impressed with him on Sat mate, he had the likes of Essien, Lampard, Mikel and Terry bouncing of him they couldnt get the ball of him.
