PV does so much community work around the club and has been such a calm and dignified presence all season (we’ve had a few of these late collapses as we lack experience, but he’s always taken it on the chin) that frankly, if someone wants to go up to him unprovoked and shout and swear in his face for about 5 seconds when there’s no other security or police in sight, I have zero issue with him reacting to it. Am not disgusted in the slightest.
Good for you. You have lower standards than I gave you credit for.

Getting strong vibes from some people that they think it's fine to give the Mrs a slap every now and again, just to show her who's boss you know? And the kids. They start playing up they deserve a good belt eh fellas?

It's 2022, you can't just go round smacking people who give you a bit of verbals. The fan was an idiot but Vieira wasn't defending himself or trying to get past, he lost his rag because somebody called him a muppet and went back on himself to swing a kick at them. It's not a massive deal, but it's not alright to do what he did and nobody should be saying it is.
He shouldn't be in that position. No one should be on the pitch to start with..

Absolute disgrace what our club had to put up with last night

Violence is never the answer, but if you act a fool you will be treated like one. Viera shouldnt have kicked him, but he should also not have been in Vieras face like that. Both acted like fools.
