I'd rather Eddie Howe than Silva, don't know anything about Fonseca other than he manages Shaktar and dressed as Zorro, which personality wise makes him sound a bit more lively.

Shaktar play a very quick, one touch style of football it's very good to watch a bit similar to Man City hence in the earlier rounds of the CL they beat Man City. Fonseca seems to be very detailed in his prep work for games, there is a very good article on him and how he lines his teams up somewhere(i think it might be on here earlier in the thread) My only concern would be that we would need a lot of changes squad wise to get the team to play like Shaktar do simply down to the fact we don't have players with that kind of pace within the squad.

Fair enough, one thing in his favour I suppose is he's won his league and done well in the CL, but how strong is the Ukranian division. After the last 3 managers we've had I honestly just want whoever comes in to make us competitive and a bit more exciting to watch.

We'll need a few new players anyway no matter what in my opinion but I had a conversation on here, can't remember who with and came to the conclusion that quality over quantity is probably the way to go next season rather than a firesale , as much as I'd like to be rid of most of them.
