Dunno, im starting to dream, which is never a good thing.

I personally think hes the best possible choice, hes realistic, just, out of contract and ready to make the move to the league.

Of course hes a major gamble, but theres not a manager in world football thats not a gamble, at any time.

Im more confident than I was, but I still think Gravyboat will be here in June.
 

Fonseca has been known to change styles and systems depending on the teams he manages and the tournament...

One way in Portugal
Different way when he went to Ukraine (they had a transfer ban or no money for players)
Different after he was able to bring in his players 12months later
Different way in Europe

Sam is 100% going, there no way we would keep him, the fans hate him, he talks crap, he was a panic appointment. If they announce he staying there be a bigger back lash then Leeds had with the badge a few weeks ago

Just wait til he gets here and changes his style to a jarg Koeman or Allardyce.

Fonseca seems to be very detailed in his prep work for games, there is a very good article on him and how he lines his teams up somewhere(i think it might be on here earlier in the thread) My only concern would be that we would need a lot of changes squad wise to get the team to play like Shaktar do simply down to the fact we don't have players with that kind of pace within the squad.

So he’s all things to all men then:)
 
Conte is out of our league but Emery is obtainable imo, he's not at the level that the likes of Chelsea/Real/Bayern would go for but the level underneath only the Milan clubs and arsenal would be looking for a manager and I doubt Arsenal will go for him leaving Italy and again a good chance conte will go to either one of those.

For me Fonesca will likely be the man who we will go for but he's also a De Boer type risk and I do dread the thought of this season happening again next season.

For me Moshiri would be best suited going all out to get Emery (forget £6 million wages offer £8-10 million and make him one of the top 10 best paid managers in Europe) and guarantee a massive transfer kitty.

I think Emery is the only realisic manager we could attract who would guarantee us top 7 good football/competitiveness in the cup comps - everyone else except left field options like Mancini and Hiddink would be a risk including Fonesca.

Agree with this. Best option IMO. Valencia and Seville at higher level than Fonseca's current achievements. There's also nice symmetry with cleaning up Koeman's disastrous mess Valencia, which he did impressively. Big merry go round this summer > Tuchel to PSG, Allegri to Chelsea, Jardim to Arsenal etc, there's not obvious next job for him. Pony up Farhad lad.
