In my opinion Jags has earned a bit of support from the club, he is going through a tricky period. If the manager feels he will play himself through it then that is fine by me. If he needs to be withdrawn from the team to take some pressure off then again he has earned that. No one has earned the right to play indefinitely regardless of their form.

Great servant and that should not be forgotten. I really questioned his leadership since the Mirallas QPR penalty incident and he has gone into decline now.
We can't ship everyone out together so whilst he should not be starting he will still have a role
to play and might benefit from playing less regularly to keep him at this level.
And thanks a million Phil for that belter at the pit. Loved it, absolutely loved it.

At his/their best, the Jags/Lescott combination was very, very good.
Sadly, I think Jags has never regained the level he played at prior to the injury against City that saw him miss the Cup Final vs Chelsea.
