We have to be right up there in terms of being one of the slowest overall teams in English football.
Godfrey is our quickest player by a mile.

Yeah we are, it’s hard work watching us try and construct an attack from deep inside our own half. Just have no one that can pick the ball up and bring it 20 yards up the pitch, takes us about 15 passes to get from the edge of our box to the half way line.

Yes, I watch us play football.
We are slow at building attacks, we don't attack with any pace at all, slow passing, very little attempt to break the lines.
That doesn't mean we don't have players with pace.

None of those players can run with the ball at their feet with any sort of speed, not a single one of them.

Coleman uses to be quick, he's lost more than a yard of pace. In fact, he's completely finished if we're being brutally honest, as much as I've loved him as a player.
Digne isn't that quick, same as Baines. Not what his outstanding attribute is.
DCL and to a lesser extent Richarlison are somewhat fast but in terms of transitioning the ball up the field they can't really use that trait to contribute other than via the long ball.
King doesn't play, Mina is slightly above average in terms of pace but mostly just looks quick with his mad sprinting action, and Holgate is average.
We have relatively slow full backs and a horrendously slow midfield. Perfect signings for me would be Aarons and Saint-Maximin, although one of those is obviously impossible.
I see Rico running with the ball quite fast most weeks.
He runs into defenders with speed quite regularly.
