Coleman uses to be quick, he's lost more than a yard of pace. In fact, he's completely finished if we're being brutally honest, as much as I've loved him as a player.

Digne isn't that quick, same as Baines. Not what his outstanding attribute is.

DCL and to a lesser extent Richarlison are somewhat fast but in terms of transitioning the ball up the field they can't really use that trait to contribute other than via the long ball.

King doesn't play, Mina is slightly above average in terms of pace but mostly just looks quick with his mad sprinting action, and Holgate is average.

We have relatively slow full backs and a horrendously slow midfield. Perfect signings for me would be Aarons and Saint-Maximin, although one of those is obviously impossible.

Dont see how ASM is impossible, Ashley would sell you his Nan for the right price.

We are slow at building attacks, we don't attack with any pace at all, slow passing, very little attempt to break the lines.

If he stayed fit he would be a very good tool in our arsenal.

And I say that as somebody that considers him MASSIVELY overrated.

No we definitely won’t, but quite a few rumours of CB’s. I’d have Mina over keane all day. But it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s sold. If ancelotti wants a new number one. He’s probably the most saleable asset. And only has 2 years left

And that team wouid have to be brilliant defensively, to challenge for a top 4 place, because you couldn’t see it scoring loads of goals.

I don't think you'd need a third CM in there - I think you'd need a rapid/dynamic wide player.

So you'd have an anchor of Doucoure/Allan (and we'd need another as Gbamin isn't happening), with a three of James-Coutinho-Richarlison and DCL up front.

So we'd need a midfield cover option in the mould of Gana, a winger like Saint-Maximin, a striker because King isn't happening and a right back like Aarons in the summer, in addition to Coutinho. Can't see all that happening.
