Pienaar to return?

I don't get the Saha hate one iota.

Yes he's not scoring but he's not exactly missing much either. Our 'service' is about as reliable as the Royal Mail over Christmas.

Yes he's not AJ or Marcus Bent, chasing down lost causes, bounding around like a Red Setter with a hard-on. But he's also 47 or something and made of glass. He's said he's learnt to conserve his energy and his body so as to keep fit -- and he has indeed kept fit.

Last season he had the same problem -- he just wasn't scoring -- but that was when he was ALSO alongside Cahill. When he got a partner briefly in Beckford and a sustained run with the creative Osman behind him he did score.

Saha is getting way, way too much stick.

Totally agree, the way Louis has been cast out on these forums because he's going through a rough patch is poor. I still think he's added more than Cahill this season with his link up play.

I like Louis, he's not going to get hate from me, but he's been abominable this season. I think he's done for and a swap for Pienaar would make my day.

If Louis goes, then I say fair play to him. I wouldn't think we are going to offer him a new contract this summer, and this season he's been poor even though the service to him hasn't been good. We've had some good and bad times out of him, but for what we paid I think we've done quite well out of him. A little bit concerned that we will be light on experience up front but we can get through to the end of the season. All the best Louis (if he actually goes).

Sounds like Pienaar is going out, between Everton and QPR. I hope he would go to Everton because he likes it here, but then again, maybe his pride might be hurt abit to much to leave the club to go onto bigger things then returning?

But this would be the best signing possible really, get that left side going again

Must've been hard on him to run his contract down like that...

*Sorry, not interested in players who do that. I know it's a business and he's after top dollar for himself...not having a go at you either Dom...just frustrated & so far away... : o(
