Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Today's Telegraph:

Tottenham Hotspur have held talks with Southampton over a move for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg after the midfielder made it clear he wants to join the north London club.

Most players don't actually live near where the teams play football but near to where the teams train. Totnam's training ground used to be at affluent Chigwell but is now on the M25 near a lot of also affluent areas.
Also, Watford and Arsenal have training grounds 20 yards away from each other, also both a little further along on the M25 so I would guess a fair few players from all 3 teams could live very near to each other in big houses in beautiful villages.

Probably different being rich living in London like but just have never gotten the appeal myself. Same as most of the Midlands think its a proper grim area.

Southamptons paper literally published yesterday that he’s agreed terms with us and visited the training ground.

From what I’ve seen on this rumour the local Southampton paper has said he’s agreed terms with Everton. The Spurs stuff just seems to be speculation from the national outlets. Am I missing something here?

Media;

1: Said we bid £14 / 18 / 25mil

2: Said we bid £25mil

3: Said Spurs were his first choice but yet to bid

4: Said Spurs may try and lowball as he wants Spurs move

5: Said we only made one bid

So what, Kane was also once 20, (as was Andy Gray lol.)

Is 23 year old Richarlison showing a lack of ambition by staying at middle of the table, never even play in Europe Everton, just like 26 year old Kane is by staying at a never win anything Spurs?
Kane has been at Spurs (in the first team) for 6 years, and is inarguably one of the best strikers in the country, and has been for years.

Richarlison is 4 years younger, and has been at Everton a whole 2 seasons.

If Richarlison progresses to scoring the number of goals that Kane has, and is still at Everton in 4 years (and we're not winning things), THEN we can compare the two.

Hands up who has discussed the issue with the player personally?

If we only discussed what players had told us personally and didn't discuss reports and opinion there would be very few messages on here.

I wouldn't belive everything I read.

Personally I do think he ends at Spurs.

But talk of withdrawing offers cos the media say he doesn't fancy us is a bit much.

I’m only seeing one club bidding here...

Considering he cost £30 million, Sissoko had a very poor first season but he gradually improved and as he was an important regular part of the team that continuously got us top 4 and I think played in every champions league game all the way to the final, he became an average signing. Strangely enough though, in our worst season in a decade, he has this season been one of our better performing player.
Cant fault that really if you think he has been one of your better performers in a poor season,he cant have been too bad a signing, too many of our players have gone missing again this season ,a bit of a combination of lack of ability, very poor attitude and poor recruitment in the last 5 years

It hasn’t paid dividends though has it? They’ve been a top 6 club for ages (being the only one to achieve nothing) nothing more, nothing less and actually look to be on the down now. Hardly ambitious. They’ve also squandered huge money on everybody they bought when they sold Bale, on Ndombele and Lo Celso and Fernandes when they inevitably have to buy them and also by sacking Poch and bringing in Mourinho on what I’d expect to be high wages so you’ll have to do better there.

I don’t get why you seem to think I’m trying to say we’re any better because I know we’re not, we’re crap but Spurs aren’t some glorious beacon of football either.

But back on topic I see no reason why PEH wouldn’t go to either club but if I were him I’d run my contract down, leave on a Bosman and get a huge money move to a better club than both.

I don't wanna get told off again but Spurs wasting all their money since selling Bale is such a myth (Ericssen was bought with part of the Bale money 5-6 years ago for just £13 million.)
If all the signings in the last 5 years have been so poor, how had they managed to play champions league for so many continuous seasons and also get to the final?)
Also,mSpurs are a club who many clubs representatives have said in the past that they would like to follow the way the club do their business (ie, we can't compete te with the money clubs.)
