I've seen him play quite a few times over the last couple of years (season ticket at St Marys).

He's a nice bloke, mostly average, occasionally good, lives off his reputation of being a prospect at Bayern.
He slows down open play, has a decent shot (mostly straight at the keeper), can tackle, awful passing.

Anything over 10million would have the Saints fans dancing in the streets

He's always looked heavy and slow to me.

What I will say is he is used to working in a 442 and winning possession higher up which would be so helpful. Imagine us nicking the ball and Richy and DCL running in on goal our current midfield never does this currently.

We need some real quality not sure this lad provides that

You’d say that about Henderson for the RS though and it is Henderson who holds that team together. Sometimes the less glamorous players can be massively influential. What I wouldn’t give for the likes of a Joe Parkinson or a Lee Carslet. Neither ‘glamour’ players, but both hugely influential.

To be honest I have not seen a lot of Hojbjergs games but what I have seen I am not to impressed, I believe we could a lot worse than have a good look at Douglas Luiz who for me was man of the match for Villa last night.
