Very true and when Uncle Uzzi's money starts rolling in I'm in no doubt that you will.
Don't agree about Son though.

Back on Hojbjerg: what's going on here? We bid 20m and Saints said 35m meanwhile Spurs seem certain he's going there but they seem to not have bid at all or the one I did see said 5m. Am I missing something?

Spurs will never get anywere near our bid, I’m absolutely certain of that.

I really hope that if we have a valuation of Hojbjerg, we don't end up just paying whatever they want. That doesn't do our bargaining power any good ahead of a summer where we really need to be on top form when it comes to transfer negotiations. Don't get me wrong, we definitely need players, but i don't want a repeat of our current situation in a couple of years when we're unable to shift players because we overpaid for them.
I agree with you, but getting value requires patience. Everyone will be jumping up and down about getting deals done early. However it’s not generally the interest of the selling club to do quick deals for good players unless there is value for them as well.

Spurs had become an elite club, they were doing well in the Premiership and the CL.

however, the owner who is fixated on money would not add to the squad over three or four transfer windows and the opportunity slipped away from them.

It shows to get to the top and to stay there you have to spend money.

A situation that may just be happening for our neighbours who it looks as if the purse strings have been tightened and they are going to depend on youth players.
