Yeah they give him an extra year so they could reduce his wages. However it completely expires at end of the season.

I believe he was meant to have left this upcoming season, but the Dutch club we loaned him to couldn’t afford his wages, so we restructured his contract so that he’s still earn the money but over 2 years and not 1.

He won’t be returning to Everton as he’s on a two year loan.

Nathangelo Markelo - Youth Signing Who has had lots of positives said about him, if I am being totally honest.

But realistically, he won’t make the grade and should be released when his contract expires.

It’s great that some of the deadwood are leaving but disappointed that we can’t get any return from them. Feels like we solidly flushed the goods down the pan and it isn’t a sustainable way to run the club. Hopefully we’ve learned our lesson and DBB/Brands will manage our budget better than Elstone/Walsh
