Ellis Simms at Sunderland (Championship) was subbed off in the 37th minute with his side drawing 0-0 away to Reading; they went on to win 0-3 in the end.
I recorded and watched those 37 mins, Simms had very little supply to work with, ironic as I watched it after the first half City v Dortmund , Haaland had similar lack of service! Possibly the last time I included Ellis and Erling in the same sentence.
Simms had one good run in a wide position, showing again that over 20 yards he’s no slouch for a big man. Then he suffered a toe injury , hobbled off, came back , but eventually gave it up. Last I saw they were awaiting an assessment, hopefully he’s not out for long.

What is going on with Onyango? He's been an unused sub the majority of Burtons matches, no?

Nkounkou was dreadful for Cardiff today apparently. Can’t seem him starting many more games the way he’s playing atm.

These players not in the match day squad is not a good sign, injury I would hope is the reason.

Surely a 6-3 loss should mean some gametime for Gibson?
