Poch Leaves Chelsea

Chelsea absolutely determined to destroy themselves, love to see it. The only thing saving them is the massive revenues they bought for themselves when they Abrahimovic bought their league status. Thats at least enough of a fall back to keep them from sinking to far until one or two 100m players turn out.

Always seemed an odd pairing that wouldn't ever work. Not quite Benitez at Everton levels, but he's a slow builder and Chelsea are a club that thrives on chaos. They always do well with managers who have big egos and make it all about them and take the pressure off the players.

Poch will probably land another good club before long, don't think this season has really done him any damage just like the spell at PSG never. They're just those sort of jobs that nobody ever expects a manager to stay long-term. Might possibly land at Bayern now, surely Kane will push for him and the Bundesliga might actually suit him as a league.

Chelsea should probably go for an older manager now to hold the fort down for a bit but they'll likely go for another project coach. People seem to rave over Kompany for some reason (Burnley were a joke this season) and also Kieran McKenna. Either will be a disaster imo.

there is literally no difference between Kieran McKenna and Rob Edwards

why does everyone think he's going to turn ipswich into some goliath next season or he's the next big cheese

Kompany had Burnley looking like one of the most exciting Championship sides ever last season yet in this one they were absolute shambles. So many goals given away because of a ridiculous persistence in over-playing at the back. Football has become all about perception though.

I will tell you, honestly. I will love it if Klopp goes there, love it
He's not the kind of manager they want . In fact they don't want a manager, they want a coach. The owners are the manager, and that always works well, doesn't it?
