Poch Leaves Chelsea

He's not the kind of manager they want . In fact they don't want a manager, they want a coach. The owners are the manager, and that always works well, doesn't it?
I was just quoting kevin keegan for a cheap laugh

But yeah they're definitely spiralling as a result of idiot owners ah la eberton

They'll want a yes man who gets given a squad and then told to make it work, zero involvement in recruitment.

Hence why the names touted are up and comers, under 40, who have no ego or clout behind them.
Didn't they basically have that with Potter? And then quickly binned him off anyway?

Mutual consent invariably means sacked. “Will you resign, no, because I have years left on a contract” …“Ok then we’ll give you a shed load of money, can we call it mutual consent”… “”Sounds fair to me as I’ll be employed again next month”…..
It probably was for less than he was owed on the contract, and he took it because he didn't want to have to work for them for another season. Stamford Bridge has become a Real Madrid snakepit without the cachet.

Somebody make it make sense, how is Kompany getting linked to these jobs?

It doesn't and you shouldn't expect it to make sense. Remember when Barcelona discussed letting Martinez fail upward into that job?

They need someone proven who can go toe to toe with Alonso in a managerial knife fight. Pochettino would be a smart hire, from where they're at. They just need somebody even-keeled and good. They have enough weapons.

Pochettino struggled to win the French League in a one horse race. I don't get him at all, never have.

Had Tottenham regularly finishing in the top 3 and took them to a champions league final
Well they were coming 4th, 5th and 6th before Pochettino, yeah he got them 3rd then started going backwards year on year back to where they started when he came in.

Champions league final means absolutely nothing if you don't win it.

He ended up with a very good win percentage at Chelsea overall but I'm with you on the not getting the poch hype.

Tries to play decent football but aside from winning the French league with mbappe, neymar and messi which I'm sure I could just about manage to do, he hasn't won anything else apart from a fan club in the media.

If bayern are looking for a proven winner i dont see any reason why people would suggest him for the job. Although I've absolutely no idea why they would want kompany either!
