My current list, which should be every sane fans list in the world, take it in, savour it, print it off in your head and know that it makes sense :

1. Jose
2. Cocu
3. Emery
4. FDB
5. Change name to Mersey Blues and apply for MLS franchise.

if not Mourinho, then Löw.

If he has to be dutch and Bergkamp/Stam aren't part of the deal, then Cocu.
I'm not sold on Löw just because his experience with club teams is really, REALLY meh.

This German team are amazing and he shouldn't really be judged 100% on that. It's different when you've got to build your own team, not just select the best of the best in the world in said positions.

I said it on the other thread, Dual: Löw's record with Stuttgart is better than anything Everton have managed in the Prem-era. But yeah, he did fail in a big way with other clubs.

Re: the national team, it's not enough to have good-to-great players, you have to be able to coach them. See also Everton in the Martinez-era :P

"I have never talked with Inter Milan, but I prefer the Premier League, Bundesliga and La Liga," de Boer said. "Italian football is very much in decline.

"Juventus did not play badly but they often expect that the two forwards need to create something. It's not my football.

"I would not go to Barcelona. It is very difficult to be a coach there. What can you teach players like Messi and Iniesta?

"Probably they need a manager rather than a coach, but I'm a coach rather than a manager."

^ Find that interesting. Koeman is more of a manager, while De Boer sees himself as a coach. What do Stones, the defence, the midfield, the youth, Lukaku require? Coaching to play as a team and be consistent over the course of a season. He would coach the hell out of this squad.

Neither

De Boer's gamble and Koeman is a continental Moyes.

Though I am aware that this doesn't answer the question.

1) Emery
2) Cocu
3) FDB
4) Koeman
5) Heisenberg
6) Mike Bassett
