Would definitely leave in in a better position than he'd find us. He's pretty much the only one of those suggested where you can guarantee that.

As a good mate of mine who is a Bolton ST holder often tells me, this is not strictly true mate.Bolton - his massive overspending on backroom staff started a big downturn in their finances.

Bolton were approx. £50million in debt when he went there and they were approx. £50million in debt when he left... having taken them into Europe.
Behave. For all his faults he did a cracking job at BoltonAnd I know that Reebok were telling their front office to put down all calls about financial health at the club because they knew the extent of Allardyce 's folly and how Bolton were in danger from it.
Let me know how they magically got rid of those players and staff when he left.
If he can take this awful squad of players to the heights that he took Bolton to (top 6 and Europe) then I'll be made up.
I think as a person he has proven himself to be highly unethical. That is ultimately the reason I would be ashamed to have him associated with our club.
In terms of qualities as manager, I think he is beyond reproach. His results speak for themselves.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. Welcome, Sam.
That kind of why I want him, I like my football without the moral high ground.
Exactly thisAlthough he wouldn't have been my choice a year ago, I do think that we are in seriously bad position right now. Sam Allardyce, and it pains me to say this, would be a good fit at the moment.
The fact that he would only consider the USA national team, and us, suggests he holds us in regard. Compare this to Koeman - a guy that couldn't even be bothered cutting his holiday short to sign up. I like that about him, at least.
Perhaps the football and how it is played. There is nothing wrong with a bit of snide, which Allardyce has in abundance.
But in terms of the club and what it stands for, I hold Everton to a higher standard. This is the People's Club and there are virtues and ethical standards to uphold.
I would be ashamed if we, as a club, were involved with some of the shady business dealings Allardyce has been complicit in.
Maybe a lot are unethical, he however was daft enough to be caught!I think as a person he has proven himself to be highly unethical. That is ultimately the reason I would be ashamed to have him associated with our club.

This really.
No flavour of the month. No PL virgin. No project.
Something has seriously gone south, but if I need my car fixed for tomorrow morning, I want someone who has got every car started he has been asked to. Not someone who might.
