We've already got some players capable of playing good football so if he came in and bought a proper striker and sorted out the defence (which we all know he can do as he managed to get awful Sunderland and Palace sides doing it) it'd be decent.

If he gets the job the first player he will try to buy in January transfer window will be Andy Carroll. WHU will probably drag out the whole sorry ordeal and at the last hour at the end of the window we'll end up being shafted and in desperation agree a price north of £25m with a 5 year deal at £100k per week. A week later he'll make his debut and leave the field injured and in the week that follows it will be announced that he's out for the season.
Percentage, direct football - call it what you want, it's [Poor language removed]. God help us.

To be fair Sam has a bit more about him than his rep suggests. He's deep into stat analysis and quality diets for the players (if not for himself), and at least his Bolton team had some flair about it with Djourkaeff (dodgy spelling probs) and Okocha.

But the biggest job he's had (England, and he was doing alright) he royally screwed up by acting crooked. That, plus his CV of managing small clubs, means we shouldn't be in for him considering our supposed ambitions.

lol lol lol

Sorry but the whole thing stinks. Is this really what we've become. OK we've messed up twice but big sam FFS so p'ed off with even entertaining the idea.
I don't normally moan and try and remain up beat, but travelling up the A14,M6 to watch fat head once a month. It's a massive no from me. Going to bed to cry myself to sleep now and won't put my toys back in the pram either.

Time for bed said Zebedee.

All starting to look a bit academic concerning Allardyce at the moment. Both sides seem to be distancing themselves from any deal. According to the Express Allardyce isn't interested in a short term which is all we are prepared to offer. They also reckon that Everton are concerned with the opposition from supporters.
All in all its looking unlikely at present.
Thankfully.

Shibby I know it's dark times but we should never stoop that low.

"Everton is a fantastic football club with huge history and tradition. It's got its difficulties at the moment and what it's got planned in the future has to go on hold at the moment to focus on what is really needed at this moment in time and that is to get Everton up that league and then talk about the bright future that's ahead in the next season - or whenever it might be and which direction do they go in.

"There's a huge amount of planning to be done, I feel, for the right manager that sets the right stall out about the fututre of Everton and not just the present day.

"But the present day is the most important now at this moment in time. But it's got a bright future."

I voted no.

Awful football and the teams he leaves behind end up being worse than when he arrived.

Sunderland and Palace are a mess because he targets average players for his quick fixes and his glass ceiling is never higher than 10th.

Tuchel please.

Awful football is a myth.

The second sentence is one of the craziest things I've ever read. Doesn't even make sense.

Why would average players fix anything? Never mind quickly?

Bizarre post, like much of your others.
